Alaina, 2022"I can't imagine not having Brenda with my husband and I as first time parents. Before labor, we met with Brenda and she gave me tons of birthing tips as well as educated my husband on being an exceptional birthing partner. During labor, Brenda helped keep the atmosphere calm and relaxing and motivated me to keep moving to get the baby ready. My labor was pretty long but Brenda was consistent, kind and caring - for 3 days! It is incredible that she didn't show signs of impatience! After what seemed like a week, my baby was born and Brenda continued to make me feel like the strongest woman on earth. I would 100% recommend having Brenda as your doula!"

Rachel, 2022"Brenda was the doula I needed and didn't even know. I truly couldn't sum up how incredible she is in just a few sentences, and she is truly worthy of a lengthy testimonial. My goal for the birth of our first child was an unmedicated birth outside of the hospital in a birth center. We met with her a couple times in person during my pregnancy which I think was so important. Brenda was great encouragement and support when I went 10 days past my due date. During my labor I needed a bit of tough love to keep moving my body to help progress labor. However, each time I felt like labor was too much she was a soft voice of encouragement and praise. She said affirmations to keep my spirits up and prayed over us. Brenda was the best emotional and physical support (I'm convinced her and my husband's hip squeezes are what got me through the hardest contractions) during my labor and she even supported my husband on how he could support me. She was great at suggesting different movements and positions. During the pushing phase she kept telling me how much progress I was making when I felt like nothing was happening. Somehow during all of her support and encouragement she also managed to capture photos and videos (which I requested). Brenda was incredible and I have already recommended her to friends of mine who are expecting. Brenda, I get tears in my eyes every time I think of how grateful we are for you and your presence during such a memorable event. You feel like family to us. Thank you!"

Alnansa, 2021"I chose Brenda from the list of doulas just by how pleasant her picture was, and how much experience she already had. She seemed very understanding, gentle, and knowledgeable to the entire process of being an aid to someone giving birth. My daughter seemed to like her too! She came to my house and met my husband and it was a nice experience. She showed us some positions I could do to ease my future contractions and how he could help, although he and I never got to do them because my labor happened so fast. I am so grateful for Brenda because if it weren't for her I would have had my baby at home by myself! When she got to my house she helped me get through the contractions with double hip squeezes and amazing emotional support. I couldn't bring my daughter into Health Foundations so she offered to watch her outside until my mother could come. Brenda also went to get me some Canes chicken and when she came back gave me these amazing foot and leg massages! She stayed with us for a couple more hours and then we made a plan to see each other over the weekend. She is so, so sweet and sincere, I honestly don't know what I would have done without her and I'm truly grateful that she was a major part of my birth story! Thank you Brenda for being you."

Haley, 2021"Brenda was an indispensable part of our birth team! She was absolutely incredible and I am not sure what we would have done without her. Whether it was guiding me through different laboring positions to change the baby’s position from posterior to anterior, to giving me clary sage, to making a Chipotle run so I could keep my energy levels up during a very long labor! Brenda’s intuition makes her a great doula. She knew when to step in and when to give my husband and I space. She was a great cheerleader and just as excited for our daughter’s birth as we were. Thank you Brenda!"

Andrea, 2021"When I interviewed Brenda, I knew immediately I wanted her support during my pregnancy and delivery! Everything about her personality screamed welcoming, heartfelt, and passionate. Unfortunately Brenda didn't make it to the birth of our daughter because my labor and delivery happened so fast. However she did make it in time to support me in the third stage of labor! This was my second pregnancy but first at a birth center. With the new experience came many questions that she was always available to answer! I loved that whenever I talked to her I could tell she had a smile on her face and she genuinely cared about me and my family! If I have any more children, I won't do it without having Brenda by my side!"

Kristie, 2017"I've experienced one labor and delivery without Brenda, and two labor & deliveries with Brenda's support. I will never go through another labor without Brenda present. She was a game changer in providing position suggestions, back & foot rubs, and encouragement. She has a calming presence and brings a wealth of knowledge. I wholeheartedly recommend her!"
